PromptchanOur review.

Promptchan: your private AI porn studio

Promptchan is where you go when you want to make the fantasy, not just chat about it. Write a prompt, pick a style — photorealistic, anime or fantasy — and generate. Not quite right? Open Tweak and say "blue tank top, by the sea after sunset" and the same character comes back in the new scene. Want her to move? Hit Animate or write a video prompt, add dialogue or sound, then Extend to keep the scene going. And when you want company, the built-in AI girlfriend chat lets you roleplay, swap voice messages, start a voice call and ask for photos and videos from your story.

With more than twelve million users, Promptchan is one of the biggest names in NSFW generation, and the feature set shows why.

The toolbox

• Create: prompt, style, pose and composition control, quality settings and negative prompt.
• Tweak: describe one change — outfit, setting, pose, lighting — and keep everything else.
• Video: animate any image or write a video prompt; choose Auto motion or direct it; add sound; Extend the clip.
• Clone: load any community creation's prompt and settings into Create and make your own variation.
• Explore and Discover: community gallery for inspiration, plus male and female companions in realistic and anime styles.
• Chat and voice calls with your own character or one from Discover.

What it is like to use

The prompt box plus pose controls get you consistent characters across a whole set, and Tweak is a game changer: one sentence, one change, no re-rolling. Video quality is among the best we have seen in the category, especially once you add sound. The community gallery is a goldmine — clone a creation you love and riff on it.

Pros

• Top-tier realistic and anime image quality
• Tweak and Clone make iteration fast
• Image-to-video with sound and Extend
• Companion chat and voice calls in the same account
• Free Gems to start, no card

Cons

• Video is Pro-only
• Gems disappear fast if you make lots of clips
• Pro is one of the pricier plans in the category

Who should sign up

Promptchan is the pick for creators — guys who want to direct every detail of an explicit image or clip. If you mostly want a girlfriend who texts back, start with Secrets AI or GoLove; if you want both studio and chat, Promptchan does both.

Compared with the competition

Against Get-Harder, Promptchan gives far more prompt control. Against Candy.ai, it is generation-first rather than chat-first. Against cheaper generators in our AI image generators ranking, it wins on video and editing tools.

Getting the most out of Promptchan

• Start simple: subject, setting, mood — then change one detail at a time.
• Lock pose and framing to keep a character consistent across a set.
• Use Tweak for outfits and lighting instead of re-rolling the whole image.
• Clone community creations you love to learn the prompts behind them.
• Save Gems for video and use Extend only on clips that already work.

Our verdict

Promptchan scores 7.7/10 and takes the top spot in our AI image generators ranking: the most complete creation suite for explicit images and video, with a price to match.
