What Libertic is

Libertic is a French-speaking libertine social network for couples, single women and single men, online since 2010 and run by the Paris company Sublimistic Média (RCS Paris 513 579 052). Its pitch: "the social network that democratises libertinage". It claims over 500,000 members in France, Belgium and Switzerland (sign-up is also open to Luxembourg and Monaco), and it shows a live ratio on its homepage — on Monday 2 November 2026, active members were 78.5% women and couples, 21.5% men. That balance is exactly what single guys and couples complain is missing elsewhere.

It works like a sexy social network: profiles with ads, photo and video albums, a "Zapping" feature to flick through profiles, a chat room, "Voyages & Sorties" (trips and outings) and a follow system to keep track of members you like.

• Free registration and use, with a Premium subscription that unlocks every service. Premium prices are not published on the public pages; they're shown on the site before you subscribe.
• Free Premium for women and couples under conditions explained in the confirmation email (CGS art. 5.1).
• Four Premium durations: 1 year, 3 months, 1 month, and a 1-week pass you can only buy once.
• Renewal: yearly, quarterly and monthly plans renew automatically by one-month periods unless you stop them from your account; Libertic must email you at least one month before a yearly or quarterly term ends. The weekly pass never auto-renews.
• 14-day withdrawal right (French consumer law), refunded minus the days already used. After that, cancelling stops renewal but the current period isn't refunded.
• Payment: bank card, charged upfront; card data stored by the payment providers, deletable from "Mon abonnement".
• Privacy: Libertic never asks for your name or contact details — your email is the only identifier. Private albums can be opened to chosen members for 1, 2, 3, 4, 12 or 24 hours or permanently; you set who can contact you, an ignore list and a watermark on your photos.
• Moderation: ads, photos and videos are checked by the moderation team; Libertic says it uses no hired hosts or fake "animators" to generate messages.
• Mobile: no app — the responsive site works in your phone's browser. Video chat ("visio") was temporarily unavailable on the help page at our check.
• 18+ only; one account per person.

How it works

Sign up free in a minute as a woman, couple or man, choose your country, and you're in. Women and couples should read the second confirmation email carefully: that's where Libertic explains how to get Premium for free. Fill in your ad, upload up to 20 photos at once, keep the hot ones in a private album, and hand out timed keys to the people you're chatting with — one hour for a new contact, permanent for the couple you've already met. Single men will almost certainly need Premium to get the full experience, and should expect to work hard: the site's own stats say men are barely one active member in five.
